ECU Pinout?

I'm working on installing Pivot's 3Drive autoblipper on my car and need to know where I can get into the speed signal. I assume I can get it by tracing and testing some wires from cruise control switch to the ecu... but that is definitely not going to be fun...

You should be able to pick up VSS from the 28 pin head unit harness (I'm not sure if the scion's head unit uses it or just the BRZ, but i'm pretty the harness is still there.) Check the service manual diagrams for the exact wire.

Thank you, that should be much easier to get to.

do you not like the autoblip that ecutek uses?

I didn't find out about ECUTek's blipping feature until after my girlfriend bought the Pivot 3Drive for me. Plus it's nice to be able to control blipping and adjust the throttle pedal on the fly.
