body parts interchangable brz into 86
 

Hey guys Nossy here from Western Australia.

Im in the market for one of the twins hopefully for my bday. I love almost EVERYTHING on the BRZ (headlights, Front bumper, fender garnish and of course WRB paint) HOWEVER il end up getting the 86 'cos I work at Toyota so i can get the car and parts pretty friggen cheap.

So my questions are how easy is it to direct swap these items, and is there a niche group of people who are like me but the other way around.. people who want to put 86 stuff on their BRZ...?

Bumper wont bother me so much as the 86 front is kinda growing on me.
Biggest thing would be the headlights and fender garnish... direct swap?

The fender garnish is a direct swap.

The headlights will swap but require a bit more work. The only car that comes to mind is actually the reverse of what you want to do. It's the Bee-R BRZ. They swapped an 86 front end on their car with lights and all.

If you work at toyota, do you get good discounts on the trd parts? those trd carbon fiber fender garnish fins are pretty cool

yes i do i ;) il have a look at how much these garnishes cost today and il get back to u.

cough you should do a scion conversion, i will have an airbag we can swap for the gt86 wheel ;)
