Simple rear badge question

Would this fit on the rear of the BRZ in place of the Subaru badge?

I can't remember if the rear badge is countersunk into the trunk lid (subaru oval shape) or if it is just glued on.

I've seen a picture of someone doing that on an FR-S, so it will probably work on the BRZ too.

However, I believe the pins on the back don't match up so you'll have to glue pins on or something.

That's what gave me the idea. I can't find the thread now though. I was worried about the pins too. I just can't understand why the trunks would be different between the 3 cars. Sounds like a waste of money for Toyobaru.

I guess the root of my question would be, are the trunks interchangable? If the badge fits on the FR-S it will work for me too.

The badge itself has an "upside-down" orientation when it comes to the pins. The trunks are all the same.

i think you would have to cut the pegs and just use the tape to hold it down~
