Does this look normal to you?

My car just arrived at the dealer!

Needless to say, I am stoked. Took a pic while I was there. As I was looking back at the photo, I noticed something:

Didn't catch it? Look close:

Does this look abnormal??? Is it worth mentioning to the dealer?

Well I just quickly google imaged "Toyota 86", it seems like all the cars are like that, so what you are looking at is normal.

Otherwise, nice car. wow, just looking at it makes me fall in love.:wub:

They are all like that. Even the BRZ. Here's mine the day I picked it up.

Thanks. Jan '13 production, just about the only thing that makes me proud for waiting 8 FRIGGIN' MONTHS!

:)

Yep, I've noticed this on all the lighter colored cars. Can't tell on my DGM or on a black one, but it's there.

mines look perfect to me.. Also a Argento

My car has the same thing. How bad it looks depends on the angle you are looking at it - from some angles it looks fine, and others it looks weird.

But honestly I never noticed it before this thread and I think it is absolutely nothing to worry about

It's normal. Trust me, you'll probably find worse panel gaps/alignments on your car as time goes on

Honestly, if it bothers you, you can adjust making it go down lower if you want. Turn these clockwise until you feel like its flush. Just dont go down too low, try to leave enough clearance for the hood to close and vise-versa..

I assume this works for any car with a hood? Regardless, thanks for the tip.
