Another Rear Emblem Alternative

So I had my Toyota dealership order this in and it just arrived.

It's within a hair of being too big to replace the original but I believe it will. I should have it on within a week or two. Will take pictures at the same time.

Here is another without the light on. Going to wire it to the tail lights so when the headlights are on it will be too.

It was easier than I thought it would be. just stuck the wires into the license plate lights. It is larger and bulkier than the original but it is awesome in the dark when the headlights are on.

Like it, where do you get those?

Sold. What's the part number and how much? Also, did it come in any other colors?

The part number is: PZ323-12006. I paid 150.07 for the part. They couldn't find the part number without a VIN from a 2012 XD Release series. But since you now have the part number you may not need the VIN. I was not offered a color choice so you may be out of luck there.

I figure it's way better then the crap you find on ebay. Should be able to go through the carwash.

Awesome! Any idea what the install is like? I assume you probably have to drill into the trunk?

I'm pretty sure that the existing alignment holes will not match the new emblem. Plus you need to drill a hole for the wiring. As long as the old holes are covered up I'm ok with drilling a few more. Just need to remember to paint them to avoid the rust.

this looks amazing, thanks for sharing! Anyone know if it'll fit on an XB too? I am going to ask my local dealership about it...

It's the OEM emblem for the 2012 XB Release series. It is really bright at night when compared to the license plate lights and the tale lights. Looks bad ass.

Now THAT would be a sweet idea for someone to do with a 86 piston badge like what I have mine rebadged to.

It was only 150.00 +-. the wiring as just enough length to go to the light bulb harness. You can then just push them into the crimped wiring and you're golden. Will take some pics tonight and get them up.
