Advice for this crack and scratch?
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...psac5da9f3.jpg
So I think what happened was someone didn't see my car in between two larger ones, and proceeded to reverse into my spot where I was parked. They probably rode up the front bumper a little, which caused the zig-zag... anyway, aside from the scratch, there's this crack on the bottom left of the scratches. What should I do about this sort of damage? EDIT: I apologize for posting this in the wrong section; I thought I put it under cosmetic MAINTENANCE but I fat-fingered it... sorry! |
that looks simply cosmetic and should be relativly easy to rub out. There are a couple of youtube videos out there on removing scuffs/scratches. I found them to be very usefull in the past. As for what brand of polish compound to use. You got me on that one.

That's what she said?!?!?

you can rub out a crack?

I think we're getting a thread a day about scratches and chips on this forums, hilarious!
|
the faster you rub, the faster the results ;)

Claim it on your insurance and go get it fixed. Being parked in a parking lot means its free fix through insurance.

Dr. Colorchip work for anyone? I feel like if you blended it and/or buffed the paint a little it wouldn't be so noticeable with a coat of polish/wax back over it.
