Looks great. How does the set up drive?

mswhong 02-25-2013 06:39 AM

wowwwww. I was really split between these and the gramlights.. but i think these take the cake. Love the aggressive-look they bring to the car!

Any idea on weight?

Looks good but I dont get why ppl run a square setup with wheels but then go put on different tyre's? You would not be able to tell the difference from the above setup to one running 245 all round except now its awkward for you to rotate tyres? But meh its your car

Got a great deal/steal on the rears that I couldn't pass up; Had the fronts lying around. The next set of tires will be true square.

The steering feels a lil more heavy which I don't mind cause it felt too sensitive before. The zippy feeling from turning is gone but replaced with grip.

What kind of suspension are you running? Any issues with rubbing?

fenixv8 02-25-2013 11:24 AM

Why did you opt for running summer tires up front and all season pilots on the rear?

He addressed the tire mismatch question here:

Interesting decision to go with a 245/40/18 instead of the more OEM diameter 245/35/18. Did you need the 5mm spacer in the rear to get the 255 tire to clear on the inside?

Tein flex, roughly around a 2 inch drop. I only rub a little going up and down steep driveways.
