WRB Subaru BRZ Corrected and Coated with Cquartz FINEST - TLC Auto Detail

Hi everyone. We were lucky enough to have another BRZ to work on today. This one was WRB (our favorite color) and was scheduled to have the paint corrected, and Cquartz FINEST applied to give the best protection and looks around.

It was raining when we recieved the car, so we hurried to get it in the shop, so no pics of the wash or wheels today.

After it was clean we decontaminated the paint, glass, and wheels with the Car Pro clay block. There was some heavy contamination on the rear bumper and both rear quarters.

Here is how the paint looked in the shop, lots of light swirls, with a couple RIDs thrown in for good measure.

We wanted to get the paint near perfect so we settled on a two step process to correct the paint. First step was Meguiars D300 on a cutting LC Hybrid pad via the Rupes LHR21. It was then finished with Menzerna 106fa on a green Uber pad with the Meguiars G110. Here is how it looked in the sun.

We were left with a good amount of dust, so we washed the car again, then blew it dry and wiped down the paint, trim, wheels, and glass with Car Pro Eraser to remove any dirt or oils that may interfere with the bonding of the FINEST coating.

We then carefully applied FINEST to all of the exterior surfaces except the tires. After it flashed, we wiped it down and then let it "bake" under the shop lights to help it cure.

Finally we applied Car Pro PERL to the tires. Here is how it all came together.

Cquartz FINEST is easily our favorite coating to apply to vehicles. It has looks that can't be beat, offers phenomenal protection from UV rays and light swirls, and has the best sheeting properties we have seen.

Thanks for checking out our thread, and we look forward to your feedback!
