Nameless Performance Revised Offset Axle Back Exhaust

[ame="http://youtu.be/Y1wnPkGb7-E"]http://youtu.be/Y1wnPkGb7-E[/ame]

This video features the just released (I have the first one delivered according to Jason at Nameless) Nameless Performance Revised Offset Axle Back Exhaust. The first/previous offset axle back was using a dual 6" muffler and the revised offset uses an dual 8" muffler design instead to make it a little quieter. They went with the 8" design because when they release their headers, the slightly larger muffler quiets down the car better than the 6" did. I didn't put on the sport catted down pipe with Hemholts resonator on yet, but I will try to do a similar video once I get that part put on as the car should get louder by a little. I plan on getting the headers too once they are finished so I will also do a video then too hopefully.

The video starts with me coasting down a hill with the windows up, after I got in my car to drive it. After a bit I rolled the windows down a crack. The sound on the video is almost the same as what you hear in real life although it's a little louder and deeper in real life. The engine is louder than the exhaust by a little in my opinion, but then again I have other parts on the car that effect the sound. I also had the back seat folded down in the beginning so the loud clunk is me putting the seats back, which makes the car cabin noise a little less as well.

Parts I have on my car that effect the sounds when driving are:
-Whiteline Gearbox Positive Shift Kit KDT926
-Perrin Rear Shifter Bushing
-Perrin intake hose and cold air intake system with foam filter
These have a unnoticable amount of noise added. Some say it does add noise but I don't think it did.
-Whiteline Rear Control arm - upper inner bushing (camber correction) KCA326
-Whiteline Front Control arm - lower inner front Anti-Dive / Caster Correction Kit KCA434
-Whiteline Front Control arm - lower inner rear bushing W0509
-WhiteLine Rear Crossmember Mount Bushings KDT922 Positive Traction Kit
-Whiteline Rear Trailing arm - lower front bushing W63414

Very Nice. I almost ordered this revised edition last week.. Waiting on my catted over / front pipe with helmholtz to ship so I am VERY interested in hearing your set once you get your installed.

Wow, the revised version is very quiet. +1

I ordered mine two and a half weeks ago from Titan Motorsports. Hopefully it shows up next week. Got the non-offset 3" one coming in!

Sounds great man, looks awesome too.

@ stockysnail

Did you happen to install the sport catted down pipe with Hemholts resonator? If you did was there any difference in loudness and performance that you noticed? On another note I feel like this revised 8in exhaust with the header, over pipe, front pipe will sound amazing.

I am not the OP but I installed my axleback and waited a week ton install the OP/DP. there is a difference in loudness and performance, both in a positive way. Love the overall sound and miss it actually. I sold the original design to get this new revision as this one has larger mufflers with the FI crowd in mind. This revised AB should be delivered to me on Saturday.

I did about a week later yes. I have a 2nd video on my build thread. The youtube video has a long description of what I thought.

How come nameless videos look dubbed? Are they scripted? Can anyone call on that?

Where can I purchase the revised catback? I remember a thread a while ago but never saw them go on sale.

nice. I wawnt this.

With headers and the original axleback and downpipe, it's a little too loud for my taste.

Huehuecoyotl 03-06-2013 08:57 PM

just wow. sounds very warm!

Subie 03-06-2013 10:09 PM

Poor car! The engine wasn't even warmed up! :(

Even the Centered 4" mufflers are the bigger 8" ones but probably won't be as loud as the original axleback. Mine should be in soon to compare between the new off-set vs non-offset.
