PnP HID kit question

So before I start I ask people to please not respond if it's to just bash the PnP HID kits but I am having issues correcting the drivers side projection. I have mashed the squirrel finders but the drivers side sits up a little higher than the passengers. Has anyone had experience with this? Have I just not mashed that one enough? It just bothers me bc when I look at the reflection off other cars rears I can tell the drivers side looks a little brighter. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated and they are morimoto HIDs so reasonable quality.

maybe its because ur sitting on the driver side so u see more than the other side. have u tried sitting in the middle just to check? how about put ur car against the wall and turn on ur headlights and see which is higher or not.

Yeah I already put it against a wall and the drivers side is higher. Would that be the squirrel finder or do I need to angle it? I know hard to tell without a picture but I was just hoping someone else had a similar issue. If it is just the squirrel finder the reflection isn't in the same shape as originally but maybe warped from the mashing. Thanks in advance

If its the cutoff line that sits higher, all you need to do is re-aim your head lights. Residual light above the cutoff light are the squirrel finders . It's most likely just re-aiming the headlights.

Get a Phillips head screw driver and theres a little gear looking apparatus on each head light. It will be on the engine bay, very close to where the H11 bulbs go into your head light. Just screw clockwise to raise your passenger head lights, or counter clockwise to lower your driver head lights.

You don't HAVE to follow the legal guidelines to aim your headlights.. I just kept a Phillips head in my car and tweaked it until I felt like it was perfect, took about a week of driving and tweaking height. High enough for my visibility but it's still well below the legal height so I'm not glaring anybody even with my PnP kit (wih squirrel finders bent)

Wow incredibly helpful. Thank you for the valuable insight.
