Look up license plate?

Does anyone have the capability to get me any owner information from an Oregon license plate? An SUV backed into my FR-S and my dashcam caught it, and I would prefer to speak to the owner directly before going to the police. The two people I thought could help me were unable, so before going to the police I am asking here.

If you or someone you know has the ability to look up a plate and get me at least the owner's name (address, etc would help, too) then can you PM me?

Please no opinions on how I should proceed, etc, in this topic... if you want to chime in then head here:

I thought you could take a plate number into the dmv. pay them a couple of bucks and they would tell you who owned it. Say the video. what a pos to just drive off. Reminds me of the people who changes the shitty diaper and leaves it in the shopping car or in the parking lot. no respect for others.

@JonnyRocket Was it you that used a license plate number to find a Lexus that hit a guy's car in another thread? I swear it was you... Maybe I'm crazy :bonk:

As far as I know they stopped allowing that.

They did. Unauthorized groups obtaining this information is a privacy law violation. It's on ODOT's website.

Certifiable!

Sorry, wasn't me. I'd like to know how to find someone by license plate as well.
