Thanks to everybody who came out (@Clipdat, @oofie, @RC51ed, @overlookedx), good drive! Short n sweet! Thanks to @PMok for leading, there's a reason I always rather take the tail (terrible since of direction :bonk:).

Going to Maker Faire this Sat, hope I can do another drive soon. I drove 35/kings mtn road today again, and after about 20 times total in this car I feel comfortable with my steering. Anyone have any driving techniques?

Awesome, might hit up the maker faire tmrw, next time Mike. On driving techniques? I find our cars like momentum, so the slow in-fast out mantra stands, do most of your breaking in a straight line before the turn, ride it through the turn and slowly accelerate out.

Nice drive this morning. I had to go back and see the view since we didn't make it out here during the drive.

Thanks Ed, yeah, I thought the overlook was on grizzly but I was wrong.

Here's a few shots from my phone, clips from gopro to come later.

Nice pictures. I didn't get a good pic with all the cars together so I didn't post them up.

There was a Couple spots before grizzly peak if we continue to pine hurst and not by the observatory near the skyline and redwood. I'm sure there will be more drives thru that way in the future.

lol lots of random fun on today's drive... in addition to the 2 epic U-turns, and a wild turkey running out in front of me... we also had this.

by the way, after we all parted ways me and @BigFatFlip took Moraga Way to Canyon Rd back to Pinehurst. Nothing too amazing along the way, but it does drop you right into the best part of Pinehurst. :thumbup:

Ha! yeah, that was a cool section, see that guy sometimes floating around the water by AT&T park. Disappointed Local motors (Rally fighter) wasn't there anymore tho...

Anyone up for a late Tuesday stroll in the Los Gatos hills, start around 7pm. I have to commute in the FRS for a couple days and I hate sitting in 680 N traffic.

@PMok! :)

A lap from Laguna Seca:

Not my fastest lap, but my recorder wasn't behaving well on my best one.
More pics and writeup to come, on 86DRIVE. :)
