Here's my cut of our drive from July 4th. Super fun to see nearly 20 cars cruise together. Also fun to see @MyRx draft @PMok.

Indeed, it is happening again. Mines Rd week three, Sunday July 9th. Nonstop service to The Junction with continuing service to Del Puerto or Mt. Ham. (Pick your pleasure)

The meetup spot is Starbucks at 223 S. Vasco Rd, Livermore.

Usual disclaimer: Conveniently, there is also a 7-Eleven gas station right there, I strongly recommend filling up before Mines if you are under a half tank.

The parking lot area is pretty small, so (if it's full) I usually will park on the road in front, Naylor Ave - there is typically plenty of room to park on the right hand (closest to Starbucks) side.

Meetup time is 8:30-9am, will roll out shortly after 9am.

Power goes through the GPS module and the connection between the camera and the module is loose. Not sure how it happened, but some time in the last couple of months, it's been causing file corruption and power disconnections.

I suspect it's that one drive that four of us went on and we climbed up so crappy road in berkeley.

There is a very slight chance I may be able to join, but will have to duck out early at the Junction. I'll probably take Del Puerto Canyon back to I5, need to get back around noon.

OK this is starting to sound like a broken record... once again last minute plan for a Saturday morning run. Who ever wants to join me, I will be doing the short run up to Golf Links Rd, down Redwood to where it's closed, and back up.

Meet at 7:30AM at i-Tea Castro Valley again

Saturday 7/8 @ 7:30AM

I ran Carol Hollow the other day (the 3rd) , make sure your life insurance is paid up, cause there a couple parts that if your not careful your speed will trip you up.... also the road is rough as hell

Hows the road condition on Mines, gravel?

Clipdat 07-08-2017 04:10 AM

Some gravel in a few of the corners, but overall very good and not gravel everywhere like it has been in the past. Very driveable condition right now, imo.

I just wish someone would remember when it's supposed to be closed. There were electronic signs saying it's going to be closed right around where it changes county lines.

Update: Found it: closed July 8, 7am-7pm

Sounds good. I'm bringing my drone and walkie. Quick question...if I lowered 1" in front with no camber correction, did my toe go in or out. I want to make a subtle adjustment before my alignment next week. I measured and currently have 2mm front toe in on each side. So that's almost 1/6 1/7 of an inch toe in. Any thoughts are much appreciated.

A drone?! Is it one of those ones that flies up in the air behind us and chases us automatically!?

Regarding your suspension question, I have no idea, wrong person to ask.

@strat61caster and @Ultramaroon any ideas?

OK, finally got around to editing mine... here's the view from the front:

Sorry there was a lot of wind noise due to the rear-facing camera position. So I muted most of the sound. I was going to dub in some cheesy background music but I figure you can just play your own phat beats if you want some to go with the vid... :bonk:
