I live by 280, theres a starbucks by san bruno between 101 and 280, if you guys are gonna be coming from sf 101 we can probably meet there and take 280 after, better scenery than 101 lol

For those of you just joining us, I will be doing this cruise on Sat morning, 8/31. I'm planning on leaving at 10 am so try to show up at 9:45 or earlier if you need to get coffee or have your morning poop. Then you guys from the other parts of the bay can make it if you'd like.

Climb into the Santa Cruz mountains the old school way, via Old Santa Cruz hwy.
Drop down into Soquel through the flowy, smooth San Jose, Soquel Rd.
Cruise Hwy 1 to Watsonville and head inland.

Touge up Hicks Rd to the old Naval radar station and back down the Los Gatos side.

This was originally just me and @pmccut checking out some back roads but it looks like we've got some interest brewed up.

Thanks for the invite, I was considering going on this drive, but somehow don't think it'd be very fun in a Forester haha (car is at the dealer for the next 5 days). I'd be hanging in the back and then lose you guys completely and be like an hour behind...

Just do it Chris! you never know.... maybe that body roll in the Forester would be really fun haha.
