oil change after break in?
 

so i just reached the 1000 mile break in period today and i was wondering if i should change the oil already? toyota did not change my oil when i bought it in last week for the first month inspection. and they scheduled me to go in sometime in june for service. and i believe they dont change your oil for you until the scheduled appointment or 7500 miles. so should the oil be changed? or would i be good till scheduled service date?

If it's dirty, change it.
But no, there should be no need to change your oil at only 1000 miles.

Bottom line if you change at 7,500 you won't have any problems, changing earlier is a precaution some take for peace of mind. If you're not abusing the hell out of it regular intervals will be more than adequate.
