Stock: 6kg WRX: 5.4kg Hard to believe they're actually lighter than stock but they are... |
Can anyone tell me how this setup feels and braking performance?
|
These look like a solid choice for those who want to retain low offset 17x9's.
I have 17x9 +35 RPF1's and just upgraded my rotors to DBA T3 3000's. I wouldn't mind a more solid pedal feel though and a bit of bling so I'll definitely look into these. Are the Subaru lettering a sticker or painted on? |

However, a company (kns brakes), does make a bracket to use them along with a larger 316x30mm legacy gt/ 15" wrx rotor. |

I knew the adapted was needed with the Z32 calipers. Thought they were needed with the Subaru versions as well for some reason (been a while since this thread was bumped lol). Probably makes the price a little more in line with each other. But with the Z32 version there is less bias change and more thermal capacity with the bigger rotors. |
In the front, all subaru calipers bolt on to any other subaru. In the rear there are three different mounting setups so yeah to put the rear 2-pots on you do need an adapter.
I was thinking about the nissan + LGT rotor setup but it won't work with my winter wheels and I don't really need the bigger and heavier rotors. |
Just bought a set of 06 WRX 4 pots off Ebay for $210 bucks.
Plan to refurbish and repaint them and found this link on another forum which I'll definitely follow and repeat the process. https://www.i-club.com/forums/suspen...d-pics-236053/ |
Thread revival apologies, I was going to go with ATS brakes and decided to go with 06-07 Subaru 4pots. Currently on the Stoptech Sport Kit (lines, rotors and pads) amazing upgrade. Question is if I swap out the front calipers will I have to pick up WRX pads and anything else? Thanks
