If I was going to lease, I would have gotten the ultimate leasing machine.

Ya, lease it before it breaks like every other BMW I see on the side of the road... lol. Get rid of it before the warranty goes out!

Neither so I didnt vote...

I had my last Scion (tC) for 8 years, and would probably still be driving it if it didn't roll off a slippery corner onto its roof. Financed for long-term ownership. With the insurance check and tax return as down payment, my monthly is down around $215.

clevrname 02-20-2013 08:26 PM

I work for Toyota, we have sold 23 FRS at my dealership and not one has been leased. I had one customer interested in a lease but he never pulled the trigger.

Miniata 02-20-2013 08:45 PM

Financed for five years. Plan to have it paid off in 2.5-3 years. I personally don't like to be making payments on a car that is out of warranty.

Out of the 25 or so cars I've had, only one was leased. Had a fairly positive experience with it though, and wouldn't rule it out completely in the future.

JDMenrique 02-20-2013 08:48 PM

Im paying $410, zero $$$ down.

sevi21 02-20-2013 09:31 PM

I financed for 5 years with 2k down

ftc~brz 02-20-2013 09:40 PM

I financed for 6yrs (for best rate w/smallest payment) with 10k down, I'll have it paid off in 4 or less.

wbradley 02-20-2013 09:50 PM

Leasing isn't mod friendly. Since the dealer didn't have any special interest rate or anything cash-ola for me. Actually added 1/2 to LOC.

alyon 02-21-2013 03:27 PM

10k down, 60 month am at 3.1%. $230 ish payment.

I don't like big payments. Also don't like leasing. Rather own it.

jenzan 02-21-2013 04:29 PM

I'm sorta like alyon with the 10K down, but 24 months at 2.9%. $900 ish.

I don't like big payments either, but I'd rather own this car ASAP and put that money back towards my plans of travelling and owning a house one day.

MissNyxxie 02-22-2013 02:03 PM

Leased. No money down, 33 months at $350/month.

Liquidsnake 02-22-2013 06:51 PM

Leased. I have leased every car I have ever had for 20 years.

How do you mod them?

BlaineWasHere 02-22-2013 07:58 PM

I put $13K down and I'm making $1K/month payments (which is like triple+) so I can get it paid off ASAP so I can get a 2nd car.

Sonolin 02-22-2013 09:03 PM

Financed 6 years, with 5k down.

Hoping to have this payed off by end of next year (or at least mostly payed off). Then hopefully house and 2nd car (which will be my HP machine :D).

drewster 02-25-2013 01:58 AM

Financed. Got a loan for $15k and will pay the rest in cash.

r4m3n 02-25-2013 02:16 AM

I put 15K down and financed the rest via PenFed at 1.5%APR for 5 years.

iketiak 02-25-2013 02:16 AM

Financed, 13k trade in for 05 rav 4. 263 a month at 1.49% 5 years also through penfed.

I have never had a problem. Lowered them etc..........I have never had a complaint when the car was returned. Just don't mess with the engine. And don't throw a body kit on it.

Exhaust wheels etc.........seem to be welcome as they add value to the car.

The older I have gotten the less I do to the car, it is kind of a waste of money to hook the car up.

I didn't touch my 370z. Lowered my G35, but when I gave it back they were happy.

So far I have just thrown a bass tube in the trunk. Its removable. Then I tinted the windows, changed the exhaust tips, and Lancered the front with vinyl.

Beyer Subaru 02-25-2013 07:38 PM

Financed at 2.9% (Subaru) for 60mos. Prolly coulda done a lil better if I went with my credit union but I'm the "easy" customer that went with their financing, warranty, maintenance, etc..
