Lift rental

So I noticed a few guys have been asking about using the lifts at some of the tuner shops that advertise on the forums. Unfortunately they are unable to allow us use of the lifts as this would be against insurance, and possibly other state regulations.

Anyways, there is a place in Montclair that is available to rent lifts. If you guys want to look them up you can do so here:

Need a spot like that in the Valley!

Awesome, thanks for the post! It sucks being an enthusiast and living in an apartment. There is also one of these shops in Riverside but this one looks much nicer.

For anyone who wants to go an even cheaper lift rental route, I have a 12,000lbs forklift :D

Shop that lets you rent out tools and lift

Hey guys,

I found a shop that lets you rent out their lifts and allows you to use their tools (decent selection) if you don't have any. Check with them before you come in to see if they have everything you need! I changed out my fluids through them and had a good experience! First time working on my car and definitely saved me a lot of money that would have been spent on shops ripping me off for such an easy job. Hopefully this helps anyone that was in the same situation as I was :happy0180:

Looks to be about $240 for a day with the lift. They're basically right across the street from the new Palomar Hospital.

thank god we have a hobby shop on base. $6 for a spot and access to tools all day. i think it cost a little more to use a lift but still pretty cheap.
i think you pay for the lift by the hour but its under $10 per hour for sure.
