Brz debadge???? To make it a GT-86
 

I was wondering if anyone had purchased a limited Brz which is closest to Gt86 as far as options and then de badged it to make it a Toyota gt-86?
I'm actually contemplating in doing that and possibly later on a front bumper swap.
I wonder if I will have registration issues because paperwork says one thing and car says something else? Could it be illegal?:search:

You thinking about changing the front bumper too? Otherwise I think it would be pointless.

A little baffling. I'm all for making the car the way you want but why not be proud of what you bought/will buy?

I get it if you want to change it from Scion to Toyota but Subaru to Toyota is something else. Ohh well to each their own :D

Don't get me wrong I like Subaru a lot! However I want to build a retro style gt-86 to give tribute to AE-86. I can't give away too many of my secrets in mind. :)
I think it will be cheaper to buy a brz and convert it than to get a frs and upgrade it. :bonk:

BRZ > 86/FRS.

I've got an 86 and even I agree with what I just said haha.

I think it would be easier to convert to 86 (or GT86) if you get the BRZ. Cheaper...? Maybe.

To each his own ofcourse, I can understand......but in this case? You kinda make me sad :(

why... brz is sexy the way it is... the only reason why u wanna turn it into a 86 is if u like a grin instead of a smiling grille. N thats personal pref.
