Wilwood Big Brake Kit Installed
Just installed the Wilwood Brake kit front and rear. What a difference in both feel and stopping power.

I'm thinking of doing a full front and rear BBK. Liking the wilwood and ap racing kits. Can we expect a review or DIY in the near future ? |

How beefy are the rotors? What type of cooling fins do they use? With names like "superlite" and "narrow" I just wanted some feedback on whether they would handle a track pad for race days. Some forum members suggest that under abuse they warp like a floppy tortilla... but I find that unlikely. |

The calipers are known to flex and eventually taco a bit under heavy use. On brake dynos some Brembo NASCAR/Circle Track friends had them flex badly but I doubt we'll see the exact some conditions on these street cars :) The rotors should be fine. |

They have the software and the engineering talent. That project is what got me looking in the first place at a floating system. I like the size and weight of the Wilwood system. The idea of coning our rotors and sending heat to the hubs is not cool though. Maybe it's overkill, but I haven't found my perfect setup yet (as far as size and technology). Plenty of great designs though tho. |
