Llyon's 2013 Raven Scion FR-S
 

Hello all, my name's Manny and this is my 2013 Scion FR-S. I'm one of those guys who names his cars and have named her Svetlana, which is Slavic for "Light," which is one of the main attributes of our cars. I also own a 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX Tr that I named Beatrix. Cars are my passion and this is my first vehicle that I've owned that is not a Subaru, kind of, lol. Great car man! Can't wait to get my Raven FR-S! I used to own a 06 WRX TR also. I had the first 06 WRX in the 11's and the first one with a PPG dogbox. I miss that car a lot.

Man I'm surprised you didn't got with the Subaru BR-Z but hey welcome to the community regardless! Any plans for the Scion?

Thanks man! I think I remember you from Nasioc and I coincidently also have a PPG dog box in my 06 too. Did you trade her in? I miss my Bugeye I traded in a ton still, =/. Were you running a VF-39 or something larger?

You know I get asked that question a ton, but to be honest, the main reason was because I have a family member who works for Toyota, so I got an amazing deal on the FR-S, that Subaru wouldn't be able to touch. In my eyes though, it's the same car for the most part, and I'm kind of partial to the FR-S interior. Thanks for the welcome, and I plan on doing little things, but nothing to void the warranty. If all turns out well, I may be fitting her with nothing but Beatrush suspension parts. I have a bunch of Beatrush parts on my 06 Wrx and I've never seen quality like their parts before.

Just suspension eh? By the looks of Beatrix, I think the mod bug may get you yet...:)

Yeah, I ended up trading my WRX in to Carmax after I parted it out. I was running a 20G turbo from FP with methanol injection.

I have that feeling too, but I need to wait until the lady and I get a new place and she gets her ring. Which I hear means that I get a turbo, lol. Realistically, I don't want to void the warranty, but you can bet once it's gone, all hell will break loose, since I'll be done with Nursing school by then. I do however want to do some exterior aero as well. Rocket Bunny or Varis are my favorite kits currently.

Clean car man, and I'm sure she was a blast to drive.

Awesome cars, Beatrix is a thing of beauty. You a photographer, or just happen to take awesome pictures?

I am actually very flattered since I love photography and I feel that I still have a lot to learn before I can call myself a photographer, however, I have several friends who are professional photographers that I've learned alot from. Thank you very much for the kind words about Beatrix too. I'm hoping to have her back on the road by April with her new setup making around 500whp.

So it's been a while since I've posted an update, but 'lana's got about 15k on her and I love her more and more everyday. Here's the most recent picture I have of her and I also have an updated picture of Beatrix, my 06 Wrx, I snapped on my birthday. I'm also going to post some pics of an orange / beautiful local FRS as well as Sam Bracero's BC Racing equipped BRZ.
