Interior Gauges at Night?

I've googled like mad and cannot come up with ANYTHING for any of the versions. My suspicion is the BRZ instruments will be all red, while the Toyotas will be red/white but that silver back on the tach could be backlit or indiglo?

Please (re)-post shots of the gauges lit up at night if you've seen them?

I wish they would use blue. Prevents melatonin development. Read: keeps you awake.

I think it's just from weird ambient light conditions.

Guys im pretty sure its just the the video camera not capturing the light correctly. But I do much prefer the white light to the red....I kinda hate red in cars this is definitive for me getting the frs instead of the brz.

Don't you mean BRZ instead of the FRS because the BRZ is all red inside?

That can probably be arranged with enough patience and bravery.

Not gonna lie, that looks AWESOME. I hope they aren't blindingly bright...

My brother had an STi, and I loved his gauges, but they were a tad bit too bright. It was somewhat distracting when it was really dark out, because you would always see red even when you were looking out the windshield... :bellyroll:

ACK thanks a bunch - that pushes me pretty hard towards the Toyota. I can't stand uni-color clusters (Pontiac, lower end BMW, etc). Red/White looks awesome though.

The thing I don't like about Toyota's is that it's not cohesive. I'd rather have one similar color for all illumination (would prefer amber compared to pure red though). Scion is a mix of white, red, amber and off white-bluish with a white gauge face that adds in dull white at night.

This is what I'm used to though (linking to avoid OT image in thread): http://www.itrexpo.com/users/dave/itr/IMG_6174rs.jpg

Also increases eyestrain and is harder to focus. Same goes with red too though. And when you get both mixed, the difference in wavelength messes with you, lol.

Green or yellow are optimal actually, but they're pretty boring.
