You could try a blow dryer on high to warm it up and try to press it out from behind and compound the scratch out.

Ben_G 02-16-2013 02:58 PM

it ONLY scratched the bumper? I'd leave it, or at the most, do what White64Goat said....

chulooz 02-16-2013 03:00 PM

Dang. Fail. Be careful with her, easy fix though.

Marcoscrdo 02-16-2013 03:02 PM

Sean-SRM 02-16-2013 03:13 PM

Might as well try this, worst case scenario it doesnt come out perfect and your back to where you were before.

only cooks hot dogs now,NO steaks!

cmss2000 02-16-2013 06:49 PM

Time to trade it in!

jstn 02-16-2013 06:55 PM

If you end up getting a new bumper just file an insurance claim and let them take care of it. But you could probably get that fixed and touched up for cheaper than your deductible.

ihaskrayon 02-16-2013 06:55 PM

It's totaled

i probably put some Band-Aid Sticker to cover it up until i get new bumper with lip or get repaint it @ my buddy's shop. i think it's kinda waste getting repaint from only this.

sbxjap 02-17-2013 01:19 PM

Oh no! It's ruined... Only fix is a body kit. And a new BBQ.

Khazzy 02-17-2013 10:22 PM

Why was your dad mad? Is it his car or is it his Grill?

I will try that as well but too cold for doing it now.

norsamerican 02-18-2013 12:52 AM

lucky for you it didn't get stuck in the Grill, the sight of it would have hurt the Pit of my stomach. Then your dad would have gone totally Ham on you and really Cooked your Bacon.

foxhu 02-18-2013 01:18 AM

calm down it's not that bad..... I had my car for about 2 month.. and I crashed XDXDXD

Morg 02-18-2013 01:45 AM

Of course he got mad. You got all up in his grill !

That sucks, but seems like a good excuse to do an FR-S bumper swap and post pictures of the step by step :)

No matter what new car you buy you're always just waiting for that first ding/scratch (or worse). Be happy it's very minor, fix it and move along.
