Frozen windows damaging window tint

So many of you are aware that when it gets really cold outside, the seal on the door windows can get a bit frozen. And when you open the door, the automatic movement of the window can sometimes get stuck and forced against the ice.

Well, I just noticed that the tint on my driver's side window is peeling on the bottom, and there's some ice under there. This is most likely due to the window being forced to move up and down when the seal is frozen.

Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a way to fix this yourself?

Was the tint put on recently? Idk the weather u had up there recently, but if it was generally good guess that it wawas going to be freezing for a whole month, the tint installer should've heated the glass a bit and pushed down the edges an extra time. Maybe even let the car run inside with the heat cranked and the exhaust tubed out.

Peeling on the bottom? Sounds like your tint wasn't applied properly below the door line.
