Marginally good use for BeSpoke users!
 

Checked the App store and noticed there was a new update for BeSpoke:

Have yet to try it out, but I'm hoping for the best. I'll see if I can post back with results tomorrow morning, if no one gets to it before me.

I got that update this morning too. That's at least a step in the right direction. A little late for me since I already replaced BeSpoke unit. But hopefully, it will benefit the others that have it.

Wish they had some love for Android... I really do like my bespoke hu, would be nice to get some of the features you iPhone folks have.

This was my only beef I had with bespoke.... I was so happy to see it on my updates last night.... now if they would extend to support to droid and windows users it would be great.

Its one of those things that theres no reason why they dont have support accross the board for such a simple app.

How hard is it to make the app compatible with the iPhone5....

I believe it's not an issue with the app, so much as the fact that the BeSpoke unit doesn't have an adapter that uses the Lightning port yet.

cant u just buy apples adapter for old iphone cables and attach it? it's the same 30-pin connector

I think I read somewhere that it has to be the included adapter from Scion. Can't confirm/deny though. I have a 4, personally.

Have anyone confirmed this to be functional? Since I saw this update I finally got super excited all over again over the app. Hopefully it will give you turn by turn voice directions!

Well, the directions definitely are spoken voice. Not sure if turn-by-turn. I'll see if I can test it out today.

Edit#1: So the Address Entry isn't very intelligent. For instance, I enter 3001 W Dr Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, and it routes me to Georgia instead of the street in Florida, unless I put in FL.

That adapter will get the ipod part to work but won't allow for any video to pass through to the headunit rendering the bespoke app useless. Pioneer already announced an adapter kit for their aftermarket units that essentially takes that adapter and daisy chains another lightning to vga or hdmi adapter which plugs into the back of the unit for video.

Pioneer does have some iPhone 5 cables coming out. They list a few radios that they will work with. They also state the radio will have to be updated to a new version. Hopefully they will get one for the BeSpoke.
