OEM wheels I haven't seen elsewhere

Has anyone seen these OEM wheels that are in the JDM staff manual? I haven't seen them on any of the test mules, or pre-production units. I want to see a full size pic of them.

Hm, new to me. Looks like a more svelte version of the Rays OEM wheels on the 370Z sport package.

Looks better than other OEM wheels i've seen...

Looks like a magazine that just photoshopped 370z sport package wheels onto the car. I'm sure you could pick up a set off Ebay or from Nissan if you want them.

I didn't even think about/look at the bolt pattern. :bonk:

lol, not to mention the nissan width and offsets.

That image is from the OEM, factory staff training manual in japan, not a magazine (at least I think). Maybe I'm wrong?

I imagine they will be one of the many JDM options that we do not get here in the US.

Also in that same manual, they have the weight listed for the wheels.

The OEM 17" are 20.3 lbs

The OEM 16" are 15.7 lbs, but appear to only be 6.5" width. I may be wrong on this though, as it looks fuzzy and hard to read.

I'd be surprised if Scion doesn't have a couple wheel options available (at extra cost).

I don't think Subaru will, but it's possible. They used to have the BBS upgrade option on older WRX's, and I believe the 08-10 STIs. Usually pretty expensive though.

its from a magazine. look at the rear. there appears to be a chrome strip above the license plate. 100% photoshop.

You are wrong. It was from a magazine.

bambbrose 12-14-2011 06:54 PM

Well damn, I didn't realize that the staff manual thread had magazine clips in it as well

Ryephile 12-14-2011 06:54 PM

Correct, from a magazine. The confusion is it was posted immediately after the factory training manual. They look like 370Z sport pack wheels to me. IMO they look better in that p-chop than on the Z!

If you can't find 370Z Wheels, you could always try BMW X5 wheels :happy0180:
