Tire rumble noise
 

I took my car out during lunch today and had a fun ride, not abusing, but did make several sharp turns at the back road. No drifting stuff.
Then I heard the tire rumbling noise on my way home after work. It first felt like flat tire, so I pulled over and checked, but all tires are fine. I can sometime feel the rumble at low speed <20, and my break and gas padel shakes too.
It's hard to capture the noise/rumble given how loud the car is, but once a while I can clearly feel the tire rumble, feels like those shopping cart had chewing gum stuck on one of the wheels, it goes pop pop. And I did check, there is no chewing gum on my tire.

I am going to try service dept this weekend, but u know those service guys, they will claim nothing is wrong. Has anyone experience the similar issue with scion frs?

Rocks stuck in the tread maybe? Or something stuck between disc and brake pad?

I did check tires, and they are clean. How do I check break and discs?

Check all the lug nuts?

Sorry, I'm not that handy with cars, what those lug nuts to do with the noise?

If they're loose, you'll get more than a rumble, but it's worth making sure everything's secure.
Have you had any work done that might involve removing the wheels? Like a tire rotation? Anything else?

nothing has been done :-(, it only has 1400 miles on it. car drives fine during the lunch run. Then I parked the car, went back to work. It happened after I got off work, started rumbling the moment my car reached 10 mile/hr

I'd get that looked at, asap.

Yeah, it does almost sound like a loose rim, although I have no clue how that would have happened (unless you have an asshole around you who is loosening up wheels). I had this happen one time (different car) and it sounded just like a flat tire. Hopefully it's something simple, but in the meantime I'd find the lug wrench and at least make sure it's not the lug nuts (since that could turn into something really bad really quickly.

and you should be able to find a toolkit with one of these in it:

(not exactly sure what the FRS one looks like, but it should be somewhat similar to that)

If you can tighten any of those lug nuts AT ALL with that wrench, it was loose.

Before you do anything do like the other guys said and check your lugs
If that does not solve the problem there are a few other things I could suggest but sense you are not handy with cars the best thing you could do is bring it to someone who is.

You live in Pennsylvania, you have snow. Remove all the snow from the inside of your rims, they are throwing the balance off of your car. You should be fine after you clean them off. Otherwise, take some pictures, it will help us out.

Yeah, I was going to say a wheel weight may have come off, but your probably right.
It reminds me of "My Cousin Vinny" when the guy told him "you got mud in your tires".

You don't need to stand on the wrench or use your whole body weight to tighten them, over torquing (tightening) is almost as bad as having a couple loose.

I don't have the manual with me but 70-80 ft. lbs. should be more than adequate and easy to overdo even with a wrench like that if you are of average size and fitness.

thank you all for the suggestions. I found the source is caused by this lil sucker. I checked all tires again in the morning when I can see them clearly, and found it stuck into my tire.
