Typical service at the dealership

So I scheduled an appointment for this morning because the clear bra on my car is yellowing. I never wanted a clear bra but it came with the car. Whatever. So the person whom I spoke with said I needed to come in so they could see which pieces they needed to order. Well this is what unfolded.

After my car sits for 40 minutes one of the service guys hands me a business card with a phone number on the back saying that I need to call the company whom they paid, to schedule another appointment... I just want a damn refund on this shitty clear bra and what do I get? A hour wasted and a service guy who calls me a "fucking idiot" on my dash cam after I walk away. No one even looked at the front end of the car.

Call Scion.

What dealership was this, should add it to the blacklist.

goodluck servicing can be a hassle

Star Toyota, south of Houston in League City.

Heard about this through Houston 86 Club. Lame service should receive bad press, and hopefully their sales will suffer accordingly.

Mine's coming from Mike Calvert, no issues with them as of yet. Raul is casual and easy to deal with, Ray is a fast talker and no nonsense. Very busy dealership, except for the parts dept. Not alot of DIY guys in downtown apparently.

In my experience Scion won't do much to help either. It's such a shame.

Write Scion and the general manager of that dealership...it might not change anything but at least they'll realize you are not happy with their lack of professionalism.

Scion won't do shit except tell the OP it's between him and the dealer. I speak from experience.

The point is not to get Scion to do anything. The point is to ensure that Scion and the general manager know how they are being perceived...and that they do care about...

Absolutely unprofessional. I would definitely show that video to the GM. On a tangent, what dashcam do you have? Quality is absolutely fantastic.
