East bay shops for spring install?

Anyone know a good shop that won't mess up my shocks installing springs and won't charge me $400 to install springs?
I'm in Walnut Creek & would like it to be local.

Or if there is anyone who wants to help me out. I have a jack and jackstands but that's about it :/ I used to always borrow my friends tools and he moved to socal

D&M Autosalon in Livermore. Dunno price. I don't think it'd be $400 though.

I know an incredibly reputable mechanic in South San Francisco that opens one night a week for installations. He does all the work for the local s2000 community, but also works on a variety of cars. His rates are bargain basement deals.

I asked him for pricing of a spring install on your behalf.

I make the 35 minute one-way trip to his shop because I trust him and his prices pay for the commute in the long run.

$400 is insane, please don't ever pay that for a job like a spring install.

Can you also check for me? I need coilovers installed, but don't have a garage to work on or the right tools :/ The last time I did an install (for the first time by myself) it literally took me 8 hours.

I am also in WC, and I've seen a White FRS nearby. We should do a mini meet

The Asphalt FR-S lurking in the Century parking lot five days a week is mine, and I'm pretty sure I saw you cruise past my workplace on N. Main earlier this afternoon.

So yes. Mini-meet go time soon I think.

There is a local Subaru shop in WC called TD Garage but they tend to do more complex jobs like engine internal work IIRC, but you can give it a shot!
