Plastidipped Badges, opinions?

I plastidipped all of my badges today, after a wash. When I began to peel the 86 badge on the passenger side, it peeled away more than I intended. I was going to take it all off and redo it, but after I removed most of it, the circle in the center was still black. I kind of like it, so I think I'll keep it that way.

I like the look. I have matte black badges on mine, but used paint because I don't like the Plastidip texture. I like what you did with the 86 piston.

Your car. Go for it! I like it.

Plastidip looked good before everyone started doing it. Now it doesn't have an exclusive look anymore. But some plastidip just looks plain wrong no matter what.

Try the exact opposite with the 86 logo. Everything black, but the actual number

I may have to try that, but I think I'm going to keep it like this for awhile.

the use of plasti dip is getting old now. all i see are the people driving old civics plasti dip random parts of their ugly ass rusted out car.

I have to disagree, I used plastidip on my vettes rear valance, and it looked incredible. I think it just depends on how you use it, and how decent a job you do applying it. For something like badges, I think it looks great. I'm going to be plastidipping the hideous two-tone wheels with the black, and applying the silver metallizer, likely this week or next.

I'm not familiar with plastidip, but could you remove the 4 squares on the inside of the 86 part of the piston logo? That would give it more contrast rather than just looking like a black circle.

It looks great. Who cares what people do to their civics, as long as it looks great on your car.

Added a pic of the rear, had to delete the ugly dealer plate frame, haven't found a replacement yet.

I love the look, and it looks like you do too. It's a bummer it's too popular but whatever man. I plan on dipping my emblems when it's warmer outside.

I also debadged my FR-S logo, you might interested in doing that too.
