Feeler: Engine Bay carbon Fiber
I have posted pics of my interior and im interested in now moving to my engine now. I want to change some parts into carbon. I have been working with the guy that does my work on some idea for parts but i wanted to get your opinions and ideas for parts that he might be able to make.
So far for the sure parts: -Fuse box cover -Pulley covers -Manifold cover What other parts do you think will work or would you like to see made?????? |
Password JDM makes a CF cover for the manifold, fusebox, and alternator and a/c compressor. Not sure what else there is to do, unless you can make them better and cheaper of course!

i think CF for stuff in the engine bay is complete waste of money. its like spending $100 on a pair of underwear.

This is straight baller status. The whole idea of cf for style is overrated and outplayed.
I second the notion that this would be a waste, because I drive with my hood closed. I also leave it closed when I'm parked. It even stays closed when I go by friends. |

EDIT: Oh holy S#$&! $229.99 alternator cover?! |
How about a cover for the front similar to a radiator cover but this would span headlight to headlight
|
Screw the haters, if you can end up with decent prices on those parts circled you'd have an awesome market

Had this since November, better then painting it if you ask me

I could buy a TRD wing and get it painted for less than those covers. As a matter of fact, I'll do that. To each his own.

For me, wings (even a nice TRD one) can become a pretty common mod. Not everyone is willing to spend the money on stuff for the engine bay which makes the parts rarer to be seen. I go to a lot of local car events and just enjoy popping the hood and BSing. I am doing suspension and Exhaust next. |
