Hey is anyone from SE Wisconsin/Chicago area going to this?

According to the event about 1000 people are comming. If anyone wants to meet up to head down let me know and we can try to work something out.

Any spots in particular you think would be good to meet up at before going?

I went to this last year. At the time I was the only FR-S there.. It's good, but the weather is a little cold for this imho. Going in a group is much better so you have someone to talk to.

As far as meetups, it depends on where everyone is coming from. There is a golden nugget you can meet at on lawerence (about a mile west of the lake) and caravan in, but the more vehicles, the harder it will be to park together. The bad weather will help with that however.

They do these every month. I might on the 17th, but i might wait.

That's all it is, people park along the lots on the north side of Montrose Beach Park and walk around checking out each other's cars. If you see something you like and the owner is there you can talk to them and meet other enthusiast. There are a few vendors that hang out, but there are no prizes and it's not a car show.

I have a buddy in Racine that has a VW and we are trying to get a couple people together to meet up and head down. I know there is more FRS/BRZ owners on this site from this area. :)

I should be in for the next one - this weekend I'm owned by the gf, haha :paddle:

Would love to organize a concrete meet up spot for these in the future though!
