5axis wing

I've done the search and could not find a thread for this, but is there someone on the forums that can get a painted 5axis wing for my whiteout frs?

I believe you can order a pre-painted wing through the 5axis website.

My bad. I remembered seeing the website a while ago and thinking it was for sale through there.

Thank you good sir. I actually am a mechanic at a shop and get a discount from parts at Toyota so perhaps it will work for the wing. Fingers crossed!

i'm ordering mine soon :) Not sure if i should wait and install it in the spring though when its warmer. Kinda scared to mount using 3M tape when it's freezing outside.

I found a seller on ebay that's got it painted and shipped real cheap too...

Pure Automotive 02-10-2013 05:12 PM

Here's my 2 cents, this is my opinion only, I'm obviously a little biased because I sell them, but this is real advice, not a sales pitch.

The ebay seller who is selling these is probably a "basement business". This is somebody who usually doesn't have a shop, doesn't have a warehouse, they just work from their home. They never see the merchandise, they never touch the merchandise, they have it drop shipped to you from someone and once the transaction is completed, I doubt they have any warranty or return policy. The ad was created on ebay mobile, and the picture is a picture of a computer screen that has a picture of the spoiler. It's not a picture from 5 Axis, or a supplier or of a real spoiler. Guys that sell on ebay go for high quantity sales, meaning, they will sell them for a very small profit in the hopes that they can sell a lot of them. Unless of course they have some kind of "hook up" because I know what dealer cost is from 5AD and there can't be much profit to be had in this transaction, unless of course they are getting it painted for very cheap. My painter is a good friend of mine and he charges me $100 per spoiler, which is a good price where I live.

All that being said, it is very possible that you can order a painted spoiler from ebay and have no issues at all. It could be a great deal and come to you perfectly painted and all the included parts with it. Or it might not be.

I sell the spoilers for $439 Painted and Shipped. They come in the original 5 Axis Box, with instructions, with 3M Adhesion promoter, with 3M Double Sided Tape, and installation templates to make install easier. I have them primed and painted by a professional body shop with OEM paint codes. I ship them UPS with delivery insurance and delivery confirmation. I've sold 7 countrywide and 5 locally. I have 10 more coming in this week hopefully and 5-6 of them are already spoken for.

Again, this is not a sales pitch, this is honest advice from someone who has been burned by ebay. If there were professional looking pictures and a better description, it would be a different story. I know for a fact that if these spoilers aren't primed and painted properly, they will chip.

Thanks for reading my long post guys, if you do decide to go with ebay, I truly wish you the best an hope that you don't have any problems.
