Anyone having issues with Bespoke - cant read iPOD

I got this annoying issue where every once in a while I get an error message that says.. cant read ipod - and it just sits there no matter how many times I unplug/reset ipod/change ipod/turn it off - hit every dam button - problem is I cant duplicate it on demand and already been to dealer 5x and they still wont change the stupid thing. sucks . was wondering if anyone else had this problem. fkn crap.

This might sound stupid, but every time you try and plug it in, get a video of it with your phone, so if it happens, the dealership can see what you are talking about.

I tried that - the frkn stupid people there are - well lets recreate it ... I went there 2x with it busted and they were telling me dum sht like.. your ios software is outdate, your ipod is old, your cable is black instead of white .. I swear. I did escalate this so im waiting and driving around the dealer all wk to bug them again about this - but just wondering if anyone had seen this.

maybe time to switch dealers and see what happens.

Yeah, if they are being stupid about it, then fuck em and go somewhere else. Have you tried a different plug by chance? I know it may sound dumb, but certain third party iPod cords don't work as well. My friend's iPod wouldn't sync with a third party USB cord, and then I gave him my white Apple one, and it worked. Just a thought.

yea, I swear I got every color - bought about 6. I have 3cars and each have a different model so its not the device. I tried ipod/itouch and several other combinations. but it only happens in the frs. but true, I did find some cables suck more than others.. dealer already replaced the usb port in the dash because they said its loose - kinda just let them do it so it looks like they are doing something.. Ill keep trying I guess.
thanks bro

Mine was working fine until today when I went to bespoke and used the map. Now it doesn't identify the iPod. I can play songs ifisele t them on the iPod but I get no data on the car screen. I hope it sorts itself out. I have the radio manual out now.

Are you sure its not the Ipod or Cable? If so... im not gonna lie id prolly make sure it didnt work next visit.

Dealerships arent like dealing with car audio places that actually know what to do/look for and will replace it. They will drag their damn feet and and waste more money trying to not fix it instead of getting it over with. Well some dealers.

I had an exp when I had my 4runner. I bought it used, and there was no map disc loaded so part of the deal was they would buy the most recent disc and load it. Well instead they grabbed a random out of date disc out of another car, then kept tryn to pretend like it worked fine when they tested it.... well they ended up replacing the whole drive, which came with a new disc, ill leave it at that.
