Dry air filter??
The only one I can find that does need to be oiled is the aFe. Are there more?? I've been sitting here reading thread after thread, so figured I'd ask...
|
Cosworth, i run one myself and seems to be pretty good. I think No Limit has some in stock.
|
Isn't the Perrin drop in a dry filter too?
|
Perrin is an oiled foam filter
|
AEM makes a pretty good one, I run it on my car and haven't had any isses yet.
|
Airaid is another option....
:bellyroll: |
I've never dealt with oiled filters. Would love to get the Perrin, but scared ill screw something up when it's time to oil it. How often would I have to do this?
|
Get the aFe Pro-Dry S Air Filter, it doesn't need to be oiled. It's very similar to the AEM dry filter I used on my Genesis Coupe. To clean it, you can tap, vacuum, or wash under water. And it comes with a lifetime warranty, got mine for $57.

I ordered the aFe one for $52 shipped. Now to wait patiently for it to arrive.

The Cosworth filter rocks!
No oil, high flow and 100% synthetic media. They are master/monster engine builders with a long racing history. |
APEXi makes one: http://apexi-usa.com/shop/index.php/...rz-4u-gse.html

The old SARD filters were dry filters as well. I wish I still had mine from when we were a SARD dealer.
