12 Hour endurance race from one of the greatest race tracks in the world, Mount Panarama in Bathurst, Australia. The race is just starting now, at 7am local time.

The overall fight is amongst GT3 class cars, including the Mercedes SLS, Porsche 911 GT3, Chevrolet Corvette, Audi R8, Lamborghini Gallardo, BMW Z4, Aston Martin V12 Vantage, and Mosler MT900. The lower classes are filled with modified production cars ranging from Subaru WRX STis and Peugeot RCZs to Lotus Elises and Nissan GT-Rs.

One of the announcers sounds like the guy who does the ALMS broadcasts here in the USA; I've forgotten his name.

John Hindaugh, he does ALMS and Le Mans.
