Eibach R2's installed... Buttonwillow this weekend.

As mentioned, Here they are. I can not say much about them as I have only had them on for a day, but I am looking forward to dialing them in this weekend. I added the needle bearing thrust plates to kill and chance of coil bind, but that is over kill as they include nylon spring washers top and bottom which do the same thing. I also went to custom spring rates, 400lb front and 400lb rear. Also have the Mach V Awesomes installed with 255/40-17 Federal 595 RS-R's. The wheels fit extremely well, I am very pleased. I think these should be the go to per dollar track wheel for this car. :w00t:

(NOTE) The top hats are the first production version with the caster gain added, they had not been anodized or machined for markings/branding yet.
Will be swapping for production plates in a week or two.

Those eibachs look pretty sick! How much did they run you?

Dave-ROR 02-08-2013 02:32 PM

I still hate you bud :) thanks for testing them out :)

Hanakuso 02-08-2013 02:48 PM

Did you get a chance to put them side by side with the stock suspension?

I doubt he'll tell you that...

I can say that retail is around ~3,200 but street price will be several hundred less. Talk to people like @JoeBoxer and Jeremy from @FT-86 SpeedFactory. There may be some other vendors also but I know both of them are selling them (pre-orders).

Thanks! I already blew my wad on the SRC, but I was curious about these. Interesting choice on the spring rates as well.

Are the front strut bolt holes "stretched" out to provide additional camber?

If memory serves they are not. I am also using the WRX crash bolts as well, and they net about the same gain with the R2's as they did with the stock struts.

Gotcha. Street price on these is between the SRCs with springs in the CSG GB and RCE Tarmac II's more or less.

Thrust plates to prevent spring bind, they include nylon versions that accomplish the same task.
