That's how society works now, people who work for things get nothing but the people who don't get everything. Rome was the same way and look what happened to it. |
yellow integra type R just pulled up out of no where and started honkin his horn 3 times and he took off -_-

I actually had a guy that looked like he came straight out of jersey shore yesterday in a bright red is300 that was pretty damn loud, but looked bone stock. He was pretty much doing that rev at you then speed up and slow down etc deal. We got to the light and he started revving his motor again and I started laughing and told him to come see me at the track because a straight line means shit. Light turned green and he floored it and tried to look like a bad ass. 1. he couldn't control his car. 2. he got pulled over real quick because a couple cars behind us was a cop that was eyeing him since he revved on the way to the light haha.

I often get the general honda and cobalt population around here looking for a race.
just ask them to come drifting with you. osnap, fwd, sorry bro. |

A Cobalt?!? That's one of the biggest pieces of shit known to man. A 6MT might have an improved the cobalt's image but I kinda doubt it since it was clear the Chevy had no intention of taking the sport compact market seriously. Even Jay Leno cannot improve GM's image. That's kind of funny that GM thought the cobalt would tangle with the likes of the GTI the SE-R Spec V and other 6 speed manual front wheel drive cars. I wouldn't have even given those guys a proper response, I would have laughed at them for suggesting a front wheel drive car can drift. |

I'm sure it is but it's still just a fwd car with a lot of power to compensate for crappy design and archaic 5MT. |

Oh, that POS. I wasn't entire sure if they called it a different name up there or not. |
I had my girlfriend with me and it was the first time I'd really had my BRZ out on the road, less than 25 miles on it. I was at a light and heard some guy next to me in a stock 95 or so civic telling the other 3 people in his car that he was going to race me. I'm still breaking this car in, so I just ignored the taunts and let him "impress" his friends.

You and I are in the same boat, we're both still in the break in periods so we're more than likely going to see more buffoons on the road trying to race. |

Drove up to Syracuse this weekend (4 hr drive from Jersey). I had a fully modded Mustand speed up to my car and slow down. I think he was checking out the car more than anything. I had a Honda Accord speed past me probably going like 100 mph after I passed by him a little while earlier. Haven't had a truck harrass me yet *knock on wood*

Had a loud wrx pull up next to me. The guy checked out my car then decided to rev up next to me. As a responsible driver, I decided not to do anything... Until I get my exhaust installed >:)

I think picking on someone bc they drive a nice car and picking on someone b/c they're spoiled are two different things. But to each his own. |

That's exactly how I feel about some of the stuff you say. I guess we're even. I don't take the internet that seriously, I guess you do. |
I had a Pontiac Firebird rev at me. I just went on my way while he spun tires at the light. Then proceeded to look at him like he had a giant gummy bear on his head when he pulled up to the next light. Fuel efficient driving seems to beat some of them pretty easily.

I really cant remember someone "provoking me" to race, which im surprised since it always happened to me in my 95 GSX and the evo.

These days, it doesn't take much to provoke people into trying to race you. The look of the twins alone will provoke some stoplight racer. |

People try to race me on a weekly basis. I just ignore them I mean if I wanted to win a straight line race I would have just bought a $20k V8
|
I blip the throttle to run down the gears when I brake up to a light or for an offramp. Everyone seems to think that means I want to go. I don't. I just like driving stick.

Some asshat pulled up next to me in city traffic tonight at a stop light and wanted to show me his Genesis could purge NOS. Made a big ass of himself. So I reved my unmodded baby just a little bit and when light went green we waited for clearence from cars in front and I took off like normal. He spun tires and wasted a shot of NOS!!! Stupid ass
