I get this a handful of times a month on my commute home.

Z1 Motorsports (a big Nissan/Datsun parts and speed shop) is in the same town where I work (Carrollton, GA) and I pass by it on my commute. Lots of folks in their Zs pass through there and seem to always be looking for a street race. I usually just stare over at them, nod, give them the "let's go" finger (handing pointing up, then forward) and let them take off while I continue on my merry way at the same speed I was doing before.

The even better part was this idiot was doing this at an intersection where a police station was RIGHT beside us.

I think I will start trolling them like you. I don't know why these kids can't just come to the track, they all want to big up on the streets, but scared for their cars and safety on a track when there is less at risk. I love dogfighting on a track as I like to call it.

The Japanese call it touge, @Ultramaroon calls it toe ghey.

I love doing this.

There was a big stance show this past weekend in Louisville. I happen to be passing through and some civic si on stock wheels / cut springs gets mad I pass while on cruise control. I see him switch lanes behind me to do a ricer flyby. My fmic is very hidden, so he likely had no idea. He went to fly by me and I just ripped it right by him. His gf was big mad.

I had a CTS-V have a go at me a few weeks ago. I pretended I didn't see him. A few ricers, a couple fast cars probably knowing they'd smoke me trying to bait me into getting gapped. My car is set up for drifting, so I pride myself knowing they may be able to take me out in a straight line but I do well enough in my own hobby :D

25 years ago maybe. But its been proven over and over again that good imports from both sides of the pond can be fast. I whooped the shit out of 99 percent of the domestics around for 20 years with my 91 Mitsubishi Eclipse. It had 500 to the wheels on stock engine internals, basically stock 5spd manual and stock all wheel drive components. On REAL street tires and pump gas. It got 45mpg, passed government emissions testing EASILY and was cheap and reliable to maintain.

You had me until the "45 mpg".
I had a 91 Talon TSi AWD making around 500HP with all the same statements you made but my mileage was closer to 4.5MPG.

He probably meant 45 smiles per gallon.

From my experience, they don't go to the track because its expensive and they are kids... I live near a busy turnpike, every shitbox with a loud exhaust wants to race.

I'm in my 20's and get challenged frequently, but I just ignore them and drive how I feel like.

The smart way.

The more track (or even autocross) you do, the more you start realizing that the things you’re able to do on track aren’t even close to accessible safely on the public roads.

I recently left my 20s, but my mentality towards this has barely changed.

I'm early in round three of my 20's and I don't recall being challenged more than one or twice in the time I've owned the FRS. It just isn't much of a thing in these parts it seems.

Agree 100% Once I went to the track I realized I was never pushing my cars to their limit on the street. And if I did im sure alot of people wouldnt be around to tell about
