Since Scion has only been in Canada since 2010 and only in my city since 2012 most people have no clue how it is pronounced. The most common version I have heard is Ski-on (which is very Canadian now that I see it in print)

What I was getting at is Hyundai makes lower quality pieces of shit with no performance or quality background, and now people are driving them with a cockiness like they are some badass race car. Oh cool, they have a turbo. Let's see how that car is doing in 5-7 years. Do we have room to talk? Yea. Subaru and Toyota have a little experience in the tuning/racing/quality department. Do you consider your FRS/BRZ to be on the same level as a Hyundai, oh wait I'm sorry, a Genesis? I don't.

I don't know, I see you have an FR-S and it might be different. No offense to FR-S owners out there, but I wouldn't ever buy an FR-S for the simple fact that it is a Scion. Subaru carries a little more prestige than Scion. Just my opinion, flame away.

Yes sir that badge makes all the difference in the world. The FRS must be really bad to have that badge. No where near the quality of a Subaru since they are world renowned as a prestige brand.

And exactly how many times does the average person refer to a growing twig or a royal descendent in a conversation? Maybe not uncommon in your neck of the woods but I have never heard it spoken in either context in my whole life. Even then they could pronounce it wrong.

Couldn't have said it better myself... Occasionally I'll take the backroads on the way home just to unwind and push the car through corners, I LOVE IT when a big bad SUV is tailgating on the straightaways and then disappears after a few corners...

(Sadly (thankfully?) I'm not as dumb as I used to be, and after noticing an increase in the deer population on these particular roads I've decided to stay off them for a bit...)

Hey Tcoat, would my car have the same prestige as a Subaru if I rebadged to BRZ? Even though its essentially the same damn car with a few differing pieces?
