FS: Ecutek Cable and 93/E85 Tune for Auto trans

I have a heavy tax debt i have to pay this year and need all the help i can get. You will still have to buy a new license and i have talked to @FA20Club.com and they will be able to provide that as well as an updated tune for your car. My tune is setup with my Motiv Test Pipe, Overpipe, and drop in filter and has E85 capability on Map 4 and 93 octane on maps 1-3. This is about $700 worth of tunes and cable so please make a fair offer i will only do this if it's worthwhile because it does make such a difference in the car.

Thanks for looking and helping me out!!

If we buy a license from them, and get your tunes, will they still provide free updates?

I will doublecheck but i'm pretty sure if you buy the license from him he will do the updates, i just asked to make sure. Looking to get $525 to make this worthwhile for me.

Updates are good to go!

Sorry to hear you gotta sell your ECUTek kit. GLWS.

On that note, I thought ECUTek tunes were tied to the car. I didn't think you could transfer them to someone else's car.

I thought so too. but isn't that what a new license is for? hmm broke... but want a tune...

Well the license is one cost, and the tunes are another.

If the tunes aren't locked down to a single car, what's stopping someone from buying the tunes, then just passing the same ECUTek dongle to other people who just pay for the license? In other words, they could get away with paying for the license and everyone just copies the tunes already purchased by the first guy.

Well I am interested, given that your tunes will work with a new license.

Lets try and make this as clear as possible. The Dongle is tied to the license/vin and can only be used in one car.

The tune is tied to the license yes. BUT here is what will happen. FA20 can take that same tune, modify it with the new owner license. It be exactly Joeboxer's tune, but modified to be "flashable" only with he new owner license/vin.

It is NOT that Joe will give him the file by email and the guy will be able to flash it (that would not work), FA20 HAS to modify it and it will be delivered by FA20, not Joe.

Id give you 200 for just the cable

Dave-ROR 02-08-2013 12:44 AM

No auto here... I'd probably be interested in the cable as I'll need it eventually anyways if I go ECUTek. Or if you sell it elsewhere/with the tunes, I'll cover one month of your vendor fees for ya to help ya out

Gotcha, that makes sense now. In other words, transfer of tunes is at the discretion of the tuner. Good on FA20 for helping Joe out!
