The 90's will live again! Well, the good part of it..

Just don't fuck up the styling please. No Acura beak, no chrome shit everywhere. Have those people been fired yet?

Also manual transmission would be nice :/

Not sure if it's going to be front mid ship or rear mid ship, but it's going to be mid ship engine.

Acura has decided that the new NSX will again use a mid-engine layout

the top brass at Honda is overly conservative and believe the only way they can produce a viable successor to the original NSX is to go hybrid, which anything but the truth. this is part of the reason the previous NSX successor was axed. i'm not a fan of hybrids but if this system has more of a bias towards performance and isn't overly complex this could work.

But it's not MR. It's... MAWD? Or MR+HybridFWD? :)

You're right. I hope they have 2 hybrid motors to power each front wheel. What about KERS integration? Hope it has one.

It would be nice to have a tech showcase. Preferably one that has more driver involvement, even with all the fancy stuff...if they can show that it's possible to advance technology while keeping the feeling of connection to the car, that would be great.

Currently though, it doesn't sound so good. 2 clutches on the electric motor, DCT, 2 electric motors on the front wheels, sounds like fully automatic powertrain :( What I'd like to see is keep the IMA, try to come up with a way to let the driver control the electric motor and engine clutch linkage that's not too complicated. That would be a brilliant car.

Hopefully they don't mess this up, but I'll give it chance since I've always liked NSX's.

This is an NSX by name only. Other than it being a high power Acura what in the world does it have to do with the NSX. If anything this will likely tarnish the NSX name.
