It would be nice to have a tech showcase. Preferably one that has more driver involvement, even with all the fancy stuff...if they can show that it's possible to advance technology while keeping the feeling of connection to the car, that would be great.
Currently though, it doesn't sound so good. 2 clutches on the electric motor, DCT, 2 electric motors on the front wheels, sounds like fully automatic powertrain :( What I'd like to see is keep the IMA, try to come up with a way to let the driver control the electric motor and engine clutch linkage that's not too complicated. That would be a brilliant car.
