APR Performance Carbon Fiber Brake ducts!

[/QUOTE]I ordered these the other day, but there was a revision on them, so I have to wait a bit longer. I don't mind waiting for quality. After all, didn't we wait so long for the car in the first place? :burnrubber: The customer service from APR was great. They got back to me about 40 minutes right after I had emailed them! They responded quickly to all of my questions.

"We did total 4 sets of prototype for SEMA project cars, and those were the only one thats out in public. After couple installs on these project cars, our R&D guys felt that the fit was not secure enough, so we went a head and redesign the tabs and incorporated 2 bolt-on secure locations from the duct to the bumper, now you can feel safe and purchase these ducts without worry about them popping out while you're driving.
Let me know if you have any question.
Thank you
Team APR Performance."

"(My name), We just finished 2 sets of these front bumper ducts yesterday morning for test fit, and we're shipping them out today to a World Challenge team for their race prepped FR-S. The first production run will start this week, and should have about 30 sets ready by mid March!" - APR

"Good news for the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ track owners, our pre-preg carbon fiber brake rotor backing plate test fit samples are completed. This unit will bolt-on to the back side of the brake rotor, a high temp hose is connected from this unit to the front bumper brake duct inlet. We will have more update on installation soon."

We're waiting on a set for our car as well. :)

Wonder if you could run that up into the airbox instead of to the brakes

What sort of price did APR give you for this? Interested. PM me if you like.

I ordered from ShowstoppersUSA and payed 295, but they are $360.00 MSRP. Most places are selling it for $306.00!

I ordered these last month but was told that I'd get them by March. I guess it's worth the wait then.

Snapped a couple of photos of the ducts on the @BerkTechnology car at the ft86cup event today.

Thanks for sharing. Does this car also run Essex AP Sprint brakes? Assuming so, does this mean this brake duct kit will work with aftermarket BBKs?

Not sure. I didn't think to look. @BerkTechnology might be able to chime in on this.
