The MKII's were nice too, but the MKI just appeals to me more...IDK why...

No, it's very different.

I mean the engine block is similar, but beyond that, not much at all.

1991 MR2. bone stock n/a when i got it, currently has a high compression stroker 3SGTE in it. :D
