Has anybody grown attached to their stock wheels?
So just a couple of days ago I was looking at my wheels in the sunlight, as they reflected so well, glistening from the light, I realized that my stock wheels really compliments my whitout color well. I decided then that I wasnt going to change them, but instead upgrade their shoes to something stickier. Has anybody else felt this way, where the stock wheels just grew on you after awhile? I know in the beginning I didnt like them. Then I said, you know, it just wouldnt be right..

Me - maybe b/c I think they look great with DGM
yep.
I like the stock wheels personally. I think they suit the car perfectly. Not to say that I wouldn't change them up at some point if I found something I liked a little better though.
If anything, slightly wider wheels.. but they would have to fit the car just right, and have the same appeal as the stock ones..
I have to say they have grown on me. It's for sure I wouldn't have picked them out but at the same time Toyota could have done a lot worse.

The spiders & their webs in my garage have grown quite attached (literally) to my stock rims...
Not really. I don't hate them but they're winter-only from now on.
Yes, but that's because I came from a Camry. These sure beat my old hub caps!
I think they look better than most of the aftermarket wheels I see. Still, I might banish them to winter-only duty, as I would like something a touch wider for the summer.
I kinda wanna powdercoat them black . . .
I like them a lot. For stock wheels, you can't do much better (at least at this price range).
Don't mind them, but will be changing down the track.
As for when not in such a rush as they don't look that bad, only issue is the width. |
For the look, I actually love them.
