Chrome Bulbs, Half-Chrome, or LED for Turn Signals?
 

I've seen and love the pictures of turn signals with the amber color bulbs replaced with chrome. I noticed that one of the sellers of these bulbs also sells 'half chrome' that tries to maintain the look but with less impact on brightness (yes, coating a bulb in paint makes it appear dimmer, so there is a minor risk).

Finally, I haven't seen a good comparison of LED vs either of those two options.

Does anyone have an experience going with one and switching to another and care to share their feedback?

Because amber is for hippie jewelry.
