FR-S owner gets chewed out by off-duty cop

I stumbled upon this when looking for GoPro Hero3 sample footage to decide which one I want, and I noticed an Asphalt FR-S racing and driving at a high rate of speed in the far right lane of a highway with whatever car the GoPro is mounted to.

The off duty cop is driving the white Mitsubishi Eclipse, seems he wasn't too happy about them driving like that on the street, because he follows them into a neighborhood and flashes his badge at them before chewing them both out.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...aR34B_Q#t=315s to start at the 5m15s mark where they race right behind the cop or at 6m56s where they fly into the dark neighborhood and get chewed out by the cop

to watch the whole thing

For every cop that's on duty there are two that are off duty. You never know whose behind you or who you're passing. :D

FR-S pulled some somewhat douchey and erratic moves. The camera car wasn't so bad. The cop passed on the right at 2:45, but then gets pissed at them for doing the same. Meh.

They got lucky. There wasn't much in the way of racing but it does not take much to kill someone or get nailed by an on duty cop and lose your license for six months (not to mention points on license and increased insurance rates). Truly stupid yet I see examples of this almost every day during the summer.

Meh? That's funny. If the cop had locked the guy up and had his car towed in that would have been Meh. I would say he was a pretty neat guy.

"Meh" means nothing exciting happened here. Cuffs and a tow would have been "shitdamn" worthy.

Pretty neat guy? He could've been worse, yeah. I also don't think either car's behavior was worthy of reprimanding by an off duty officer, but I'm glad that as a human being he went out of his way to have a word with the driver of the camera car. I see people driving like this in the vicinity of cops (without realizing the authorities are within eyeshot) quite often, but rarely is anything done about it formally. Then again, we have groups of people doing donuts on interstates around here...

Don't fuck around on public streets...too many people get injured or killed by people trying to show off or "have fun". If you are going to, don't be stupid enough to video tape it.
