Yeah, you can freeze the video a few frames later to see it isn't a BRZ.

I'd just like to point out that they had a car taking down a jetliner, which then gave explosive birth to another car... I don't care if you think these movies are ridiculous, my butt is so in a seat when this opens up, haha.

Yeah, I saw the trailer and the car had 4 doors. Looked to be a Charger. I do have to admit I was hoping to see the BRZ in the trailer though. Just more reason to look forward to seeing the movie in theaters.

It looked like Han was driving the BRZ when it showed the interior shot.

Han does drive the BRZ, He rolls up in it when they all meet together to assemble the team. Don't get too excited.

frs/brz is too ricey for modern day fast&furious movie..
as you can see in the trailer is all about exotic cars not ricer crap like old school fast&furious

Nah, if I remember Fast 5 correctly they had a few old standards running around, especially when they were first looking for a car to evade the security cameras. I think they went through an R32 GT-R and Supra at least, but I could be mistaken. Anyway, they definitely at least make nods towards their "cheap" import past, especially with the constant American vs Import rivalry Walker and Diesel have had since FF1.

If anyone remembers back far enough...

Before TF&F came out, there was a lot of hype concerning the rumor that the "all new" MR-S was going to be featured in it. In the end, it was only in there as part of the big scramble they did being driven by some random extra and got a few seconds of screen time in a passing shot. That was it.

I suspect the BRZ will be similar.

That MR-S was an owner's personal build from a casting call. Whereas Subaru supplied 5 BRZs (according to an article) for this film and one was being trailered around Spain with Dom's main car, a Mustang (leaked photos indicate it's Tyrese's), and 3 military trucks. Rather than a passing extra, I suspect a main character will drive it. Especially since the BRZ has been uploaded to Instagram/Facebook by the official Fast and Furious social media people.
