TRD 80's inspired wheels.

Don't know if theres been a topic on these wheels.

I really like em, i don't know why...they just fit the car.

The 15-inch by 7.5J wheels might be dwarfed by the girth of the 86′s wheel arches, but TRD have made sure to lower the ride height of the car substantially to sort of mask this obvious mismatch. Plainly put however, it actually does work pretty damn well. The new-gen Tosco, dare I even call them that, have been fitted with Dunlop Direzza 03G semi-slick tires, 215/50 all the way round, a sort of hint at what this concept has been aimed at. We can only but approve of those nice and chunky sidewalls!

Wonder how much...wonder how much they lowered it too.

I completely agree with you, those wheels look great on that car. I would easily run those on my BRZ. I am really suprised how well the 15's look on that car. Thanks for the pics :happy0180:

Your welcome.

If anyone finds any news on these wheels, please do tell.

I'm willing to fork out the cash for these, most def.

1979 RX7 wheels. Previously posted BTW but no problemo, the cyber police are at the virtual donut shop today.

I dropped my Mini Cooper S from 17's to 15" RPF1's and saved almost 20 lbs per corner (they came with run flats back in the day).

I really like -this- wheel on -this- car, but not sure if anyone could pull it off w/o having a pro photographer taking shots for them.

Also, will our brakes even fit under 15"s?

There was someone on here running 15's for their winter set up. 15 x 6.0? This is 15 x 7.5.

Also, there's the circuit brake kit on the car posted above is. Isn't that brake kit larger then our stock ones?

Photo so old it's still on Imageshack. :P I should move that stuff sometime. I have other photos somewhere, but can't remember where.

It was like night and day when those wheels went on. 15x7 RPF1s are like 9.5 lbs!!! Some people on the forums thought I was crazy, I thought they were really in the spirit of the Mini.
