Blacked Out Headlights Trade For Stock!!
Hi. I performed the DIY headlight reflector blackout and must say, it makes the car look 1000 times sexier. Unfortunately I have had very bad luck with my FR-S and less than 4000 miles and 2 engines later, I will be returning my car to Toyota for a full refund. I'm not buying another FR-S so I figured why let these beautiful headlights go to waste??? Here's the deal... I live in the Temecula/Murrieta area of Southern California. I will trade my headlights for stock headlights. This is a great deal especially for those of you that are afraid to stick yours in the oven. These have been on my car for a while now and through rain, dew, and car washes there have been NO LEAKS OR CONDENSATION! Here's the catch... If you want them, you have to come get them. I will take them off my car but you must either bring a set of stockers with you or bring your whole car and swap them in my driveway. The earliest I can have them off my car is on Wednesday. You can see pictures of my headlights in the DIY thread located here. My car is post #202 on page 10. It's also featured on post #1 on the bottom right. I will not take "dibs" or reservations of any kind. It's first come first serve. Let me know if you have any questions. If interested, contact me and I'll let you know how to get to my house.
No I will not drive to you. The car is broken so dont ask. :thanks: |
I can't trade, but if it came down to you selling them to get money to buy new lights let me know!
Selling is not an option. I must return the car whole. It cant be missing headlights.
Damn that's sad.
Pics? I'm in Temecula and may be interested. Did you do them yourself?

pics... might be interested
Would you be willing to ship at my expense?
Why the request for pics? I posted a link to the pics. Does the link not work because it works for me. Anyway, this weekend will be the last opportunity to swap. Here's a pic of the headlights.

wow ffreakin beautiful, did you do them yourself? i'm just very very wary of condensation issues x.X
Yes, I did them myself. Like I said before, these have been through car washes, rain and morning dew with absolutely no condensation. My untouched tail lights have condensation issues but not my modified headlights.
I should also mention that I left the high-beam reflector chrome so I didnt render them useless. Lights are bright in both normal and high-beam!!
Are you willing to ship if so let me know 94590

If my lights weren't already blacked out I would've jumped on this. Hopefully someone out there comes through for you. Good luck bro, and sorry about your car.
